Hola hola 🫨☀️✊️
Ok, everyone, things have been going down here in Hood River. I've been absolutely loving it. My comp and I have been on a serious grind. And seriously, it's been the best.
The weirdest part is that, like, we have been locking in, trying to be obedient, running as fast as we can. But like at the same time it's felt like we haven't had a whole lot of knocking or finding blocks. But somehow people have been literally falling into our hands. Por ejemplo, our friends we are teaching referred a friend and picture us having a mega lesson with 3 of them and then getting to take this new friend on a church tour, and then yesterday he pulled up to church! He doesn't know like anything but he's really interested in baptism. So he's probably gonna get dunked here soon. Vamos a ver. We had an insane referral from Facebook. So we messaged him the next morning, and bro called us and was like, “hola,” and we were like, “We heard you want to learn more about Jesus Christ's church.” And he's like “sí” and so we set up a church tour. Most fire church tour ever. Literally, this man wanted to know about everything. Like, somehow we taught him the word of wisdom, tithing, baptism, and anything in between, because he was just asking the most questions. Anyway, he also pulled up to church yesterday and was confused about why we didn't read from the Bible at the pulpit, but then we were like, sir, come to second hour; we study together. It was actually awesome because it all just clicked to him. He was very locked after that. Pretty sure he already knows the church is true 🙌
Anyway, we've had a bunch of miracles close to this; it's just been awesome. When I got here, we were actively teaching like 2 ½ people. And then the rest we were going to dejar enseñar. And now we have a whole heap of friends its been actually amazing. Truly, I don't know why we are being so blessed to see the hand of God working in so many people's lives. My companion Hermana Day has never given a church tour during her mission, and in the last 2 weeks we have given 7. So, to say the least, we really know this chapel
Holy, today we went on this hike to this pretty lookout called Michel's Point. Anyway, we were hiking with this cutie member from the elders area who is from Africa. Her name is Memory, and she had me chackling. We were going down this steep hill and there was a bunch dead grass and loose gravel and her and sister Bell were just falling down this hill sliding and giggling which in return made me almost pee my self (someone may have peed their pants i wont disclose who) but Memory was literally yelling and hollerin and and dying of laughter which made is all die the the elders are shouting instructions from the bottom but i cant hear anything and I had to walk her down and my stomach was hurting from laughing and sjes screaming in her black lady way and it was just the silliest thing ever.
Ok I have no time today because no sé im bad at remembering that I have 20 things to do so i don't do any of them. But here we are. Gonna leave you with a little spiritual thought from Alma 7:13
13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.
Alma 7:13

The part i want to focus on is when se say “he taketh upon him the sins of his people…” and an elder in my district pointed this out to me how Jesus took upon him everything. Literally everything of our sins, pains that he might blot out our transgressions. And what he asks in return is for us to take upon ourselves his name. This idea gave me a wider and fuller understanding of why baptism is so important. Because i hope that when i get to the end and I see jesus he looks at me and I tell him I have it my all and he said “me too.” this is why we take upon our name of Christ tanto we may gain the power to over come it all. And through to start to understand what he did for us.
Anyway, I love you all lots. And I hope everyone is having the best time (especially my family in Lake Powell….. 🫠)
Jesus did it for you all of it.
