3.20.23

This week has been great we have met so many awesome people and I am so excited to keep working hard here in O'Higgins!!

I had the wonderful opportunity to return to my old area for one of my friends, mirtha's baptism! It Washington such a special experience, I'm so grateful I was able to go back and see all the wonderful people in my old area they are all so great and I miss them so much!

We met a guy named Osvaldo this week this man is incredible. He has such a huge desire to learn more about his Savior a few months ago so really terrible tragic things happened in his life but that is what made him realize that he needs Jesus. He started reading the Bible and trying to come closer to Christ and we have just barely started to teach and help him learn and come closer to Christ!

Another day we were walking through our area and we saw this epic Pirate ship on land! And we went to check it out and there we found an inactive member who has a business selling flowers out of her Ship! It was so cool and then she let us take some pictures and started talking more about the church and her story and helped her desire to start going to church again and keep growing and building her faith!

This week I was studying in the Bible in the book of Luke and found this scripture in chapter 7:47-50 "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace." I know that this is true that Christ lives and loves us and that by our faith and love for God and Jesus, we are healed, forgiven, and loved with an even greater love! Jesus loves you! Don't you ever forget it!

3.6.23

Hey everyone!! I hope yall are doing great!

I've had a great week full of miracles!! We have so many friends that are progressing so quickly like we were talking with our friend Mirtha and we taught her the Word of Wisdom and she was like alright if that's a comandment from God through a prophet welll...I'm gonna follow it, she then explained that she has been drinking tea and coffee basically everyday her entire life! But she just has a testimony and trust in God and his Prophets and is willing to do whatever it takes to follow Jesus Christ!!

Wellllp me and Elder Dennert have had some great times together. I have learned a lot from elder Dennert, and it has been so much fun working as hard as we can building the kingdom of God here in Forestal Viña del Mar...but we got transfer notices and I very sad to leave this absolutely great area and these amazing people that I have come to live so very much! I feel like Forestal has become my home, but I guess I am needed somewhere else and my next area will be in Valparaíso with a new companion Elder Lindsey!! I am excited for the new opportunities and adventures I will have in another part of the Lord's Vinyard! It is hard to leave behind all the great people and friends I have made here in Forestal but I know that I am going to Valparaíso for a reason and I am excited to keep going forward working hard and learning lots!

A scripture I want to share with yall today is in 2 Nephi 32:2 and it says "Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do." I know the scriptures are the words of Christ and that they will help and guide each one of us the the very intimate personal way that you need! God and Jesus love us, the church is the true, the books are too! And I invite you all to "FEAST" upon the scriptures! Not just snack, nibble, snitch, graze or taste test, but FEAST and enjoy the feast, love of Christ, the guidance and the help! I love yall and share this and invite yall to feast on the words of Christ, in the name of Jesus Christ Amén.
