Whats good ✌️
This is gonna be a speed round lock-in
Ok, this week started out lovely with some silly visits with more yappers if anyone has tips on how to get out of an hour-long yap let me know ⬇️. Anyway one of them proceeded to show me their entire gallery of art this old lady her whole life, shes an inactive for a long time. And had an interesting moment where we were talking about God and whatnot, and proceeded to let us know she lost her testimony… interesting use of words it felt as if she “lost” as in didn't know where to find it. A kind of hopeless loss, it made me reflect on how truly blessed I am to have a testimony that I know right where it is and where I can go to find it when it feels a little misplaced (in case you're wondering where you can find your testimony it's through prayer, God's word, and church)
Anywayyyy kinda random. . .
But the rest of the week took us for a little detour because my more compy developed a deathly illness, RIP Hna Gallion. But that meant that I spent all day Thursday reading my scripture, cleaning the entirety of my apartment, listening to so many chapters of the saints, and baking about 68 cookies. No complaints I had a great time, except for the part where we were not able to share the gospel with God's children. You win some, you lose some.
After Thursday shinangings, my comp was feeling good enough to do some work. But there's a catch, she completely lost her voice… and when I say lost, I mean LOST, there was no sound coming out lol, which meant when we knocked on someone's door and they spoke Spanish, I proceeded to almost pee my pants and spit out some crazy words in español. Of course, we were able to talk, or I should say I was able to talk to this super sweet lady; she was so patient and let me fight for my life, and she tried to understand me. She was able to share seek of the religious struggles she has been having and when I was completely lost, my companion whips on a lovely scripture that met her needs. The Holy Ghost is working and we were able to get her phone number and were invited to come back on a different day. She'll be so impressed by my comps Spanish skills after struggling with mine ✌️ hashtag the gift of tongues is real, everyone pray for me
That's been about the most exciting things going on. I'm loving it. Fall is coming
