11.24.26 You've got 12 mans

OK GANGGGG
THIS WEEK WAS CRAZYY
Such a long week but also a very good one.
Diving in 🧜‍♀️🏊‍♀️

We had an EXCHANGE, very exciting, we witnessed a car crash and proceeded to watch like dads from our bench outside a cafe. Don't worry, everyone was all right. The rest of the exchange was a blast, kinda a weird day, but no biggie, we bounce back.

The title of my email comes from an elder who was letting me know that if any homeless men attack us, we'll be ok 🙏🙌

Ok, remember Estefany?? Our referral from our elders??? Well, we've literally met with her 5 times in the last week and a half. She is so locked in, it's incredible. She opened up to us about how she had finally prayed to God for help, and then the next da,y we came knocking on her door. She teared up and told us it's because God wanted her to chat with us. We then got to tell her about the Gift of the Holy Ghost and how we were led to come to her door that day. She was completely baffled to think her Heavenly Father cared so much; it was so tender. We gave her a Church tour, and then she came to church this Sunday!!! So hype she was so cute. When the sacrament was getting passed around I passed it to her, and she asked if she could take it and I looked at her and said, “Esta bien,” and she smiled and took it. It just warmed my heart that she wanted to participate in the sacrament. And you're not gonna believe it, guys, but it was literally her birthday, and she decided to spend it at church with us. 🥹 She's 20!

We had a Sisters devotional, and it was ⚡️Stranger Things ⚡️ themed, very silly, but so fun. (Reference google photos for evidence⬇️)

We have had some crazy days this week. Thursday, we only had 10 minutes for lunch, and we then hit the road for 8 more hours. It was wild. God is working some mighty miracles, it gets even better.
That night, we finally had a lesson with Lalo! He was my first friend who came to church since I started my mission. His 6th grandbaby was born *everyone says “awww” sooo we had to take a little break while he was out of town. BUT we finally got a lesson set up, and we had an amazing member join us. And we planned to go over the restoration, but we were following up on the 5 principles of the gospel, and we once again talked about different times we have been guided by the Holy Ghost. And this man starts pinpointing all the different ways he has been guided to la iglesia de Jesucristo and how he knows it's because this is where God wants him. He literally said it's not us, it's God. Soooo with some spirit-led conversation, we were able to help him commit to a baptismal date!!! ✨️ 12 de Diciembre✨️ everyone, please pray for Lalo! He is such a king.

Another crazy thing from this week that I would like to address is….. that girls can now serve missions at age 18?!?!? This took me for a loop, let me tell ya. But as I was feeling a bit betrayed as I read the post from the first presidency, (mind you, if any of you know, I seriously wanted to go serve right out of high school), I started to think of where I would be if I had left right out of high school and everything else, but then the second thought was this
D&C 90
“24 Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all things shall work together for your good, if ye walk uprightly and remember the covenant wherewith ye have covenanted one with another.”
All things will work together for our good. That means whatever the circumstance, God will use it for our benefit. This means that if the age had changed before I left, God would make that work for my good. That since it didn't, God is making it work for my good! That I was able to experience so many things last year, and my testimony grew so much. But if I could have left earlier, God still would have worked it for my good. I'm talking to all my Sisters out there who might have had similar feelings this last week. Please know that God is so aware of you, and he is creating an experience meant completely for your good. God needs his girls. He always has. But he's telling us he needs us NOW. So this is my invitation to anyone thinking about serving a mission. Know that God needs YOU individually, with all your imperfections.

So continue to pray always.
Be believing.
Hold strong to the covenants you have made. Love you neighbor
And love your Heavenly Father.
Because let me testify that he loves us first
He gave his only begotten Son for us; our job now is to tell the world about Him 🫶

Go eat some extra pie for me this week 🥧🌫🍂🪾

11.17.25. I saw 5 apples the size of my had this week.

Ok, everyone, ☝️👱‍♀️ listen up

Starting of strong with a ✨️ milagro ✨
Our cutie English elders who share our ward with. Set us a referral for this lady. We get around to stopping by her home, her younger brother answers, and after some confusion, we get across that we are missionaries like the 3 that came by the other day. He excitedly says he will be right back. He brings his sister, and we are immediately invited in. They tell us they want to know everything and to start from the beginning. She got them on the Book of Mormon and invited them to read a passage. They said we could come back the next day. When we came back, they had read together 🥹 . We are so excited for them. Please pray for Estefany and Cristofer!

We also got fed so CRAZY good tacos from this ward event that we crashed on accident, hashtag no efforts wasted 🌮

This week was low-key a hard week. Lots of non missionary related things were happening, so my brain and motivation felt like it was gonna pass away all week. But there were moments where God's grace was the only thing I felt I could hold onto. I don't mean to be a Debbie downer. But it's just been a bit of a struggle.
I was reading a beautiful talk by President Nelson, he was talking about faith
“The mountains in our lives do not always move how or when we would like. But our faith will always propel us forward. Faith always increases our access to godly power.”

Christ Is Risen; Faith in Him Will Move Mountains
I am realizing now more than ever that my faith is the first thing I should be focusing on in my conversion to Jesus Christ. It is and has always been our faith that has made us whole. And when we do the things to increase our faith, we gain access to God and the power of the atonement. I'm still learning what this means for me. But there is so much hope in the idea that God is there and will help us even in climbing our biggest mountains

Anyway, God is there. Always. Pray and seek his help, exercise your faith in him

11.11.25

When peace like a river . . .

Ok family.

Another week 🫶

This week started off strong, being on the find grind. But this weird thing keeps happening to us, we're literally the first house we knock on, the person, like randomly, actually wants to talk with us or desperately needs Jesus.

Tuesday, we go to these Catholic housing apartments because you know all the Hispanics be liven there. Before we even had the opportunity to knock on someone's door, we approached this man playing with his kids outside his home. We start yappen with him, and I shared Mosiah 3:9, which is just about believing in God, and the man literally starts tearing up. He invites us inside and we start to teach him about prayer, and he is just sobbing this whole time. It was wild. We prayed over him and with him. And it was so tender. I don't think I'll ever get used to God trusting me with his kids. But it's incredible to be a part of it.

We also had.... everybody say ✨️ZONE CONFERENCE ✨️ It was great. I'm starting to get to know a few more missionaries, so it's becoming more exciting as we go.

Saturday, we had a crazy miracle. It was stake conference and there is an adult session Saturday night. So we invited all our friends to come. No one said anything, and 2 hours before it started, our friend Patricia messaged us and said she wants to come and she's gonna bring her WHOLE FAMILY. Diabolical. So we rush to the church after our contacting. And we meet them, mind you, this is the very first time coming to church. So when we went to walk into the chapel, the only open seating is on the front row..... but it's chill, we walked in and sat quick. There was a general authority there, and he made us stand up and introduce our friends. (Everyone pray they were not freaked out and will come back to church.....) But it's all good, they were very kind and stuck it through the whole 2-hour meeting. They left quick because it was late and she had work early. But we are praying hard that we can meet up again and see how their experience was. Anyway, it was so crazyyyy

That night, I got home and got a message from my brother telling me my mama was headed to the hospital, and we didn't know what was going on. I hit my knees, and never have I prayed harder for my sweet mama. It got scary for a little bit, and they transported her up to Utah Valley. They figured out what was going on, and they were able to fix it the next morning. (If you want more details, ask my mom ) We had the whole mission praying for her. I don't think I've been more afraid in my life, and I couldn't do anything..... but in those moments when there is nothing else we can do, we had to turn to Him. Praying and putting our trust in him. Jesus is mighty to save, and what incredible knowledge we have that our God is a God of miracles. Let us seek his power and trust in witnesses daily.

D&C 6:23 Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?

No greater witness. God is there. He hears our prayers. He knows me and you. Everyone, go hug your mom for me 🫶

11.3.25

3 months olddd 🩷✨💓🙌🫶

Ok everybody, back again woot woooot
Maybe take a seat because we're going speed round 🏎

First off, I hit 3 months as a missionaryyyyy so hype wildest things I've done with my life yet

Anyway, on my month mark, we had a crazyyyy day. We started off with a less meager schedule. But we went forward with faith. Our first stop of the day, she wasn't home, but her husband said she would be back in a little bit. So, walking back to the car, I told my compy we should go take a look around the corner at the trailer park. She proceeds to tell me there isn't one. But we went over anyway. It wasn't a trailer park, but there were like two and some random houses. The first house we knock this HISPANIC lady answers! First miracle. She was pretty hesitant at first, but as we chatted her up, she warmed up to us. We then asked if we could share a quick scripture with her. She thought for a hot minute and then asked how long it would take. We said 2 minutes, and she said that was fine. We are about to start reading she she asks if we want to come inside! So we come into her home and she shows us her Bible, and we start to talk about the bible. We then shared the 2 bible references we know and taught her the first part of the restoration of the gospel with her bible! It was actually so mega crazy. We didn't get too far, but she kept on telling us how she never opens the door to anyone like us. Butttt today she did! And she had no idea why. Big miracle ✨️ , we are going back tomorrow 🙌 , so excited to see how things go.

The second miracle of the day was that we got to meet this cutie couple that let us into their home, and we got to teach them about prayer. It was actually the most tender lesson. As we were telling this sweet lady about how God hears her prayers, she literally started tearing up. We then knelt and taught her how to pray and pray with her and for her. It was so special, the spirit was so big in that room.

We drove home in awe that God would trust us with such special people and experiences ❤️

The rest of the week went great, and we continue to find crazy joy in the work.
We got to do sole fun service while an old man yapped our year off as we cleared his garden. Very exciting

We met back up with Patricia! She is the lady I taught by myself (and of course with the help of the Holy Ghost) a lesson in Spanish when my comp lost her voice. We hadn't been able to meet with her since. But we caught her again this week. We had an insane lesson, she is so special and needs the gospel so much. Megaaaa hyped to keep on teaching her!

HALLOWEEN 🎃
That meant that we went home early that night and got to clean our apartment for so longggg it was actually great and we went to bed early 😴 so a big win all around. We did have 1 pair of trick or treaters. I opened the door after scrambling to find some candy and throwing it in a bowl. I open the door to find approximately 12 minions on my front porch. I literally died.

Our friend Lalo came to church again!! So exciting, everyone pray for Lalo, we really think he's the one 🙏

33 Say unto this people: Choose ye this day, to serve the Lord God who made you.
34 Behold, my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.

I've been thinking a bit about why I am out here. And it always comes back to the fact that I can't picture doing anything else but trying my best to serve God by helping others walk with him. And there's a crazy promise in this verse that mountains will flee for our good! And God can abide in me and you. So just know in your moments of doubt or struggle, know that God is there, and when you do your best to walk with him, he will be there to guide and strengthen you.

I love you all! Jesus does more 🫶
