hola
this week has been pretty good. we spent a lot of time finding. and trying to use more ways to find people to teach. one thing that we are planing on doing this week is drawing the plan of salvation in chalk at a nearby river walk/park to atract attention and then we will talk to people about it. hopefully it works. thier are some youth that are going to help us from the ward. if anyone has ideas for finding people to teach we'd love to hear them.
so yesterday we taught a couple, M and A, they are really cool; we taught them about the restoration the week before and this time they had some questions about the plan of salvation, and then they just opened right up and started telling us about themselves and what they're going through. the spirit came in as they were talking and we shared some scriptures one from alma 7:11-12 about the atonement and how christ has felt everything that they have just so He would know how to help them and then shared a scripture from 2 Nephi 7? it was about nephi when he was tied up and left in the wildernes. and how he prayed for strength and it was granted to him according to his faith. we then disscussed how the priesthood power had been restored and that we held it and offered them a blessing. they accepted and A really felt the spirit. it was great!
Everything thier sound great! pageant going full swing. happy aniversery! and happy fathersday dad. i love you! did you get the bithday card? is your knee healing? i hope so. mom your lesson sounded amazing. thanks for sharing your insights.
Love ya
Elder Olsen
