this week was great! with the new transfer we both Elder m and i have been blessed with an enhanced desire to become the best missionaries we can be, and to best serve the Lord in this part of his vineyard. we started off the week with a huge blessing! Thursday just as we got our of an appointment we had about a half hour, elder mangelson received the revelation to visit an active member as we went we talked with him and shared a scripture. and just as we were getting ready to leave he asked if he could discuss something with us. he then proceeded to tell us about his 11 year old son that wasn't a member. this was news to us. he told us that his son wanted to be baptized! we then set an appointment for tonight to begin teaching. we are super excited and feel that He is a blessing we receive as we have been striving to be diligent. this week we also we able to teach Jose. we have been teaching him for a while, he hasn't been progressing like we have hoped. we have a member that we want to take over to help us teach. we are hoping that it helps. :) we also began teaching N we contacted him on the street weeks ago and were finally able to start teaching him. he is from Puerto Rico, and is 85 years old. his is great we have taught him the restoration. he has questions about the book of Mormon and we have gone over the introduction. we are praying that he is reading we don't have an appointment with him 'till Wednesday. He didn't make it to church this week... hopefully next! he is super cool! we have found more elderly people to teach in this area than i ever have. the wards average age is probably go up 20 yrs while we are here. we are hopefully going to begin teaching another couple soon. they are a referral from grandma Dorothy. they have had lots of trials in their family. they will hopefully be ready to accept our message.
Happy birthday simeon! your getting so old! turning 8 thats so neat. you will have to send me pictures of your birthday party i'm sure it will be fun. i'll pray for snow too! Have your front teeth come in yet?
Dane it sounds like you did pretty good at region especially with going up a weight. but i also remember how nice it was when wresting season was over. it feels good to be able to actually go home after school. what ya going to do with all your free time now? i'm sure you will find something. is the truck going yet?
