hola! mi familia!
what!? The Morgans are going to serve as mission president! thats so cool! and they all spoke . that would have been so fun to go to. i love pageant time.
this week my testimony has grown that the Lord puts us right were he wants us. we had 2 experiences this week that we recognized.
1 we decided that we needed to see a former investigator that we both hadn't met. she had been taught a lot by the sister missionaries a few years ago. so we went to her house and she came to the door and said that she didn't have time now. but we both could see that she was emotionally at the point of breaking. as she was going to close the door i asked if we could say a prayer with her. and that was exactly what she needed she came outside and she broke down about how her family is falling apart. we prayed for her and she then told us that right before we came she had been praying for help. it was so cool! God loves everyone so much! we set an appointment for wed. which she didn't show up for. its so sad when people know that we are servants of God and see that God has sent us to them than they don't follow through by keeping commitments. we have tried contacting her several times since with know luck.
2 we were out biking and came to a car with its hazards on and a family holding hands and praying. my first thought was they broke down and were praying for help. as we rode up we noticed they were standing around 3 wooden crosses. we stopped and waited for them to finish praying. M (the mother of the family) noticed us and invited us to pray with them. she explained that her daughter, and her daughters boyfriend and their 1 year old Child had been killed in a car accident 1 year ago. we then prayed with them and testified of the plan of salvation. they also recognized that our meeting was planned by God. we then found out that they lived out of are area. so we referred them to the elders in the adjoining area.
we also taught C. he has been supper prepared! he has a date for July 1. we taught him the word of wisdom. and apparently his member friend told him about it already. so he had given up drinking about 4 weeks ago and gave up coffee about 5 day previous to our visit.
This Work is being lead by Jesus Christ. This is His Church. and He loves every one of His Children. I know it!
