Hello!
i wish i could send the rain we have here to good old manti. it has been raining almost non stop since yesterday morning. the lake behind our house has risen about 1 ft. we sang "the wise man built his house upon a rock" for companionship study while realizing that all of Florida is sand. i will definitely include rain for you in my fast as well.
i would definitely like to see danes notes from his talk. thats neat that he was able to give it on the constitution. President Halls email today encouraged us to use our constitutional right and to vote. he mentioned that in order to get the absentee ballot it would have to come from the county clerks office. will you look into that and see what its going to take?
C is doing amazing! he is super prepared. this week we taught him a few times. He told us this is the first church that he liked. he said he actually wants to go each week. and that he had never felt that before. He is set to be baptized this saturday at 7pm. he is super excited! there will be at least 4 people baptized in the ward that day! 3 from the other elders in the ward.
we also are working with Rose Marie. she is Haitian and we were able to get some awesome fellowship to our lesson with her last week.
we are now studying to figure out how we can best help members to do missionary work. we have realized that we find people to teach but that they gennerally aren't very committed. but when a member refers us to their friends or aquaintances the people are much more likely to progress to baptism.
thank you for your prayers!
i love you
Elder Olsen
