Peter, 2.21.11

HELLO!
this past week has been great! so much of the time we focus on the bad and don't even see the good. this last week we meet some really good people it was so fun to talk to them. on thursday? anyways last week we went to a street to tract at about 6:30 and this older couple invited us in, after talking to them at the door. they are 7th day adventists and their big thing they stress is observing the sabbath on saturday and not sunday. but other than that their beliefs are very close to ours and they are vey strong members of their church. it was fun to have good Christian people to discuss some principles and what we believe with such genuine people. they were so good and they said that we could come by anytime. we also placed a book of Mormon with them and they were very interested in it and said they would read it so it was very cool we will go probably go back in about a week to follow up. we also had a general appointment with a man named jim and we ended up stopping by yesterday just after five, when we knocked on his door he told us to go around to his back yard. so we did and he came out and told us he was bbqing and was planning on feeding us. He and his wife made a wonderful meal of steak, potatoes, corn, drum sticks, and a salad it was a great sunday dinner and it was a pleasant suprise and we prayed with them.
its so fun praying with people here, some of them really do talk with God and tell Him about everything they are doing. it has suprised me how often people recognize us as servants of the Lord and thank him for sending us to them. the Church is true and its wonderful to be serving the Lord to help him bring to pass the imortality and eternal life of man.
