Hello
The work here is going so fast! i can't believe its almost been 2 months here in Florida! our normal day here on the mission starts out at 6:30 in the morning by waking up and saying morning prayers and then we start with our 30 min of exercising, I usually start by stretching and then go into push-ups and pull ups. then just after seven elder mcclatchy eats breakfest and i jump thruogh the shower. and then we switch then its breakfest which often consists of something with eggs, whether it is breakfest burritos, scrambled eggs, or Roman delight (one of the many ways missionaries cook roman noodles), or cereal or yogart with fruit. after breakfest we go straight into personal study from 8-9 were i try to study something out of preach My Gospel and also read some out of the Book of Mormon. we then combine with the spanish elders (metcalf and clayton) to sing and pray before starting our companionship study. we also share what we learned while in personal study. and then we go over what we have planned for the day and then get out to work by 10.
this past week we taught quite a bit. when we went over to the Ws house to follow up on how he was doing and to answer any questions he might have about church. when we got their he was happy to see us and came out and talked to us for a while and baisically told us we could come over whenever and we were always welcome but he didn't really want to learn any more about our church. He had been studying lots online and had come across anti mormon material and had come across some things that he just wouldn't accept, we told him that he was welcome at church again. but we came to the conculsion that we had to stop teaching him. and look for people that are willing to change. we have found some other people that are willing follow the promptings of the spirit. we are still working to bring the spirit into every lesson.
we are working to improve ourselves everyday. and continue to try to learn and apply what we learn in our studies to the work.
the church is true and its a blessing to be able to be serving the lord.
Love
Elder Olsen
