hey
so much is happining! that leadership training sounded so good! i wish i could have had an experience like that! it sounds so fun! you said you re-wrote your vision statement 4 times thats the same principle that President Hall has been working to get our mission to do. He has been working for a long time to help us see the benifits. we mostly do it in role play, we practice teaching once and then we evaluate the lesson, point out times that were powerful and the spirit was their and determine what we want to change. and then we re-practice. it really is a powerful tool to evaluate and make corrections. this is one thing that i have struggled with is taking correction/critique even though i know that if i take it with a humble heart it will only help me become better. i am really interested in what all of your vision statements are. i would love it if you would sent them to me.
This last week we set a baptismal date for R (nat bro) for sept. 10. we are going to have to pick up the speed that we have been teaching him. He is the only one in that family that has really been taking the time to read the book of Mormon and he has felt a change in his life already. he has felt more peace and comfort and has felt somewhat rejuvinated. it really is amazing to se how when people do what is neccisary for them to gain a testimony that they do and they want to help have it grow and become bigger.
we also met a part member fam that the wife is a less active and her husband is not a member. we taught them twice last week and we are excited to keep meeting with them, God really has been blessing us so very much. thank you for your prayers.
Love ya
Elder Olsen
