Hello,
I'm glad that you had a great week in SL and that dane was able to get rid of the crutches and the picc line, i'm sure that dane had a blast at efy. it continues to amaze me how much is going on there. i love the updates.
so this week R, N, and Ry (natashas bro) all came to church and enjoyed it again. we have a hard time teaching them all together because Ru works so much! but we have an appointment that we are hopping to be able to set baptismal dates with Ru and Ry. after finishing teaching the Restoration.
this week Elder Nash came up to my area on exchange and we stoped by a potential investigators house for what we thought would be the last time if she wasn't their. she was thier and had time so began teaching her by teaching about the spirit and how it works using Gal. 5:22 to help her know how to recognize it. we then prayed and asked for the spirit to come and after the prayer we waited for her to recognize its preasents, she did within a couple minutes. we proceeded to teach the first lesson with checking back and helping her to continue to recognize it. when we came to the end of the lesson she said she would be baptized on the 3rd of sept. it was exciting. we also started teaching cindy this week she was refered to us by one of her relatives that are members of the church. it was really neat when we asked why she was so willing to listen to us she said that she felt something inside her telling her to listen to us.
God truly does prepare people to recieve the gospel. its a testimony to me that this is Gods work and that he is directing it on the earth today.
Love you all
Elder Olsen
