Mom & Dad

the weeks seem to be flying by this week we recieved a call from a member that just moved into our ward. K said that her husband and friend had some questions for us. so we set up an appointment and taught them the Restoration. and committed them to read. we came back on friday and they had read as a family! we are excited for them. they came to chuch and enjoyed it. we are going to go to the temple for a "Temple tour" they have a tour of the temple grounds that is conducted either by a former temple president or president Wood, a member of the mission presidency, they basically teach the first lesson and tie in temple work. it is really a GREAT! the spirit that is on the temple grounds is amazing! we also committed Chou and her family to come as well. Chou has been the most interested in learning about the church. and she has been reading in the book of Mormon and can feel Blessings comming. her husband told us that he could see a change in her the atonement is really starting to take effect in her life.

now to the questions

how are my shoes? well they are still watertight. one pare is in really good condition the big bulky ones and of course the ones i like are wearing really thin. they are probably only a 1/16 of an inch thick at the thinnest. but i mostly use those shoes on days that we have the car and to meetings. so they should hold up for another month or  two, they are missionary mall so i'll have them replased when they wear out. we only bike here on the 3 days a week sat, sun, mon, so we don't usaually bike very much. on the car days elder berhold drives. i haven't had to consitantly drive since May so that has been nice. but i have to admit i do miss it. especially since we just got a new car about a month ago, it's a 2012 chevy malabu. President Hall is a doer. he was a football coach for utah state and he was in the leadership at byu Idaho. i really like him. He is all about following "Preach My Gospel" to the "T". my companion is very similar to me we have some of the same interests. he goes home next week to centerville ut. He is getting excited to see his family, and jump back into life.

ps Dad that is so cool that the priest quaram has read the BOM, have you pointed out moroni's promis in moroni 10:3-5, i wish that i had someone would have comitted me to do as he directed and pray and ask to know that it is true, i was always taught this but i never took it and asked to know. and also go over how you will recieve and answer. just a though i had when you told me what your quaram was doing.
